Making a positive difference to people and families affected by dementia.

According to Alzheimer’s Society research, 69% of people living with dementia said the main reason they stop going out is due to a lack of confidence. Understanding and support is essential in order to help people living with dementia to remain part of the community, be more active and live better, more fulfilled lives. This is our mission.

Events and Activities

We hold or take part in lots of activities and events across the region to help improve the quality of life of those affected by dementia.

Music and Memories

Are you going to join us for our next Music & Memories Singalong with our fantastic musicians, Maggie and Trish.

There's no need to book at the moment; just turn up at Dressers Tea Room inside Dorman Museum in Linthorpe on the last Friday of the month at 11am.

This event is open to anyone living with dementia and their carers and the space is reserved exclusively for those attending this event so you can relax and know you're in good hands.

Dancing

Our dances are held most weeks in Middlesbrough and Redcar, and they’re open to anyone living with dementia and their carer. They offer reminiscence through music along with great fun; we sometimes get musicians to come and play plus we have our own DJ, so you can make requests. We usually have a big screen so you can also watch the original videos with the music, and we take a break to have a little picture quiz during the session - then more dancing!
